Logen Ninefingers Right from the outset, Texan outfit Turnip make it all seem so effortless on their second outing. The songwriting quality throughout this LP is high, with many memorable moments and gratifying choruses. Their style lands somewhere between southern rock, fuzzy Blues and reverb-laded Psych/Shoegaze and 'Haunted Stereo' is a satisfying listen. The guitars are fuzz-laden and crunchy, the percussion is driving and meaty, while the vocal hooks sets this record apart from trailing pack Favorite track: Across The Sun.

HDD Strong song writing, bluesy slide guitars and vocals that remind me of Snakes & Arrows Geddy Lee. Really good stuff here.
